a few updates…
i’ve updated my resume, as i’ve now moved to another state after accepting a new position in my field. i’ve also updated the project list with the following:
i’m no longer maintaining the missouri river irish festival site - after working on a new design for months, the group suddenly stopped communicating. they have a new site, designed by someone else - which, by the way, stole all the text from my version, and completely fails validation. i’m not bitter (although this was a project i very much enjoyed), i just don’t want this new work to be associated with my name and design reputation. i just take it as a lesson learned - don’t reply to craigslist ads for web design internships!
i’m also no longer writing blog reviews for eatonweb - after not receiving payment, i stopped turning in reviews. simple as that. another lesson learned.
moving also put a wrench in doing web design for a then-local doctor’s office, so that one’s no longer considered a project of mine.
i have added a project - a community site for a gaming group, currently in development. yes, i’m a gamer in my spare time.
i’ve also picked up blogging again after the move over at ed tech hacks - now having more insight into the instructional design/technology world, with my new job.

since the festival is getting a new name (formerly “fáilte st. charles irish heritage days”, now the “missouri river irish festival”), i thought i’d give them a new design as well.
the old design (2007) is archived here on my site (with a few broken links on the sub-pages… i’ll fix them when i get the time, i promise!), while the new design prototype (2008) can be seen here. it will go live on the main website when the design is finalized in the next week or so.

i think i’ve finally got everything i’m working on listed.
next up: sections of the site for presentations i’ve given and writing samples. stay tuned!

just added the links to the sidebar for two new projects i have in mind: eco-veg, a blog about all things vegetarian, vegan, and green living (with a co-author, my husband!), and everything ecommerce, a blog about everything i have learned and am learning about ecommerce, online marketing, seo, and more.
updates to come!
